ROSE COLOURED GLASS PRODUCTIONS summons a journey below the surface, beyond the familiar heartbeat of thudding breakers. This is not the place of bitter cold salt waves that can drown the soul. Kari Glass and Robin Rosemond’s sea series, leaps off the walls in bright hues that spill over the edge, implying the vast mystery, immensity and power of the sea. These saltscapes—where kelp foliage flourish and float beyond the frames—are too big for any canvas. Robin and Kari's multi-medium exhibit evokes only a portion, letting the viewer’s mind ponder the unfathomable scale. The irony is that Kari and Robin’s small piece of the whole has all the depth and expansiveness of the sea, which provides Rose Coloured Glass Productions its inspiration.
