DESIGN PROCESS

After gathering the sea glass, the shards are sorted by size, shape, colour, pattern and texture. Typically about 8 Jetsam Jewels will be laid out together simultaneously and the various shards in each unit will be shifted around to find a variety of shapes with a poetic flow--like finding the right puzzle piece to fit within a harmonious ensemble.
Once the jetsam shards are designed and laid out the individuals are packaged together in recycled bags with twisty ties while waiting to be wrapped with wire.
