Kari Glass's paper mosaic piece titled RECIPROCAL NEAREST NEIGHBOURS received an award for WORKS OF ART ON PAPER in the March 2011 Member's Juried Exhibition at the Comox Valley Art Gallery in Courtenay British Columbia. The panel of judges David McLean, Meagon Wilson and Robert Moon, said: "Reciprocal Nearest Neighbour by Kari Glass is "idiosyncratic and quirky with a sense of humour . . . reference to science and specimens is interesting . . . "
